It’s no secret that summertime in Upstate New York is short, which means every drop of sweet sunshine must be maximized. One way to do that is to plan trips to u-pick farms; the enjoyable experience of picking your own veggies, fruit or flowers.
Livingston County has an abundance of rolling hills with rich soil and is home to a number of u-pick farms. They are excellent places to go with a group of friends or the whole family. These farms offer visitors everything from blueberries and pumpkins to flowers and strawberries, all ripe for the picking when they are in bloom! Livingston County is the place to enjoy a rural escape.
